ATTORNEY FEES

WELCOME

Many clients are concerned about how attorneys charge fees for handling consumer matters.

For most case against creditors for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), our attorney's charge a contingency fee.

For most debt collection defense matters our attorneys charge a combination of contingency fees and flat fee per task completed.

We will disclose to you the fee structure we charge when we decide to accept your case.

  FEES FOR FDCPA CASES

  FEES FOR DEBT COLLECTION CASES

In most cases, if we agree to accept a case under the FDCPA, the matter will be handled on a contingency fee basis.     Our fee will be a percentage of the total recovery.    If there is no recovery, there is no attorney's fee.

In some cases, we will only handle a FDCPA case on an hourly basis.     In those cases, you will be billed an hourly rate we agree on, and you will receive billing statements that will be payable monthly.

All fee agreements for FDCPA matters will be agreed to in writing so you know exactly what you are being charged.

For debt collection defense cases, we ordinarily charge a flat fee per task (i.e. $x for a motion).     Our fee can also be based on a percentage of the amount saved in settlement (i.e. 20% of the amount saved in settlement). Depending on the circumstances involved in your case we will either charge a flat fee per task or contingency fee or a combination of the two.

Our fee structure will be fully disclosed to you at the time we determine we will accept your case.    All fee agreements for debt collection defense matters will be agreed to in writing so you know exactly what you are being charged.

We are a Debt Relief Agency.  In addition to protecting the rights of consumers, we help people file for Bankruptcy relief.

Let us assist you with any problems or issues you may be having with any of your creditors.
